eFax - A Fantastic Service

Sending documents by fax has become the most common method of doing business today. Using a regular fax machine if you send many faxes in the run of a day can not only be time consuming, bit it can also become very costly because of the salary you pay to the employee, plus the cost of paper, ink and the use of the telephone line. Over 11 million people now use eFax services for their needs. Along with many other benefits, you can also get your own toll-free number with this service.

eFax operates around the world. It is available in 46 countries and in 3500 cities. You do not need to have a dedicated fax machine to use this service because you can send a fax from your laptop, desktop computer or a wireless device. When you send a fax in this manner it is very similar to sending an email as it is delivered to the recipient’s inbox and in the case of you receiving faxes, you get them in your inbox.

You don’t have to worry about not being able to send or receive a fax because eFax prides itself on being online almost 100% of the time. You will never get a busy signal and have to redial number after number. Documents that you send can be stored for a two-week period so if there is a problem in that the recipient doesn’t receive the fax, you don’t have to go through the whole process again. You simply search the eFax database to find the document and resend it.

The cost of using eFax is very low. You pay a $10 start up fee and this allows you to choose either a local or toll free number. With this price you can send or receive 130 pages per month. If you go over the monthly allotment, the cost of sending a fax is 15 cents per page. You have two monthly plans to choose from depending on how much you will use the service - $16.95 if you pay monthly or $14.33 per month on an annual plan.

eFax also offers an upgraded service in which you can send voicemail to email recipients. This is a little more expensive at $20 for the set up fee. However, you receive 200 pages of incoming faxes or voicemail minutes and there is only a 10 cent charge per page if you go over that amount. The monthly fee is $19.95, but if you choose an annual plan, you pay $18.34 per month.

If faxing documents is an important part of your business, you really need to give eFax a try.
